a followup query on the alleged racing dynamics spam incident (which is not
looking good for racing dynamics right now, i might add.) if anyone has
retained the spam, i need to see a copy of the headers including the
envelope sender.
look at the full headers for something like
Return-Path:
or
Sender:
this can be a different email address from the one in the From: line, and
often is different.
complete copies of the email including all headers would be best.
FYI, apparently the sender of the email in question is making some (rather
weak) claims about the sources of his addresses, based on the email i've
been exchanging with the former list member who brought this to my
attention this afternoon. these claims don't seem to be matching up
terribly well with what i'm hearing in replies to my earlier query.
