Years ago we bought a VW van that had been smoked in. A thorough cleaning of
all interior surfaces removed virtually all the odor. Time and fresh air
took care of the rest. The Vee-Dub was easy to clean, just about everything
was vinyl, rubber, or painted metal.

Carpeting and leather will take special care but I think a good cleaning
will deal with the problem.
