I'd get a 633 made between '82-'84 ... because this avoids the more
complicated 635, which comes with uprated engine management geared
more toward pollution control, comes with front air dam, and comes
(came) with TRX wheels. Prior to '82, the whole engine management
system is comparatively primitive.
Most important, it's good to know that although you can get one of
these for 5-$8K, this is still the same $45K (1980s $) car it was when
it was new, and it's probably time to replace some major items, which
will still be priced like items on a $45K car. These cars were rare
when new, and I expect maybe only about 10,000 were sold per year if
even that. The drivetrain is pretty much standard 5 stuff, but none
of the body is.
