Brake Lights Failure

I have a 1999 M3 Convertible. The right brake light bulb burned out and I 
replaced it. Two days later I had no brake lights and a "brake lights 
failure" warning on the LED console.

I checked the lights, replaced the fuse for the brake lights but still get 



the warning and I don't have any brake lights. Oh, the LED high brake 
still works, the bulbs don't.

Any ideas?
