Engine Tuning 2001 e46 325i (US)

It seems amazing:  I can get more different types of ground effects
packages, trim packages, suspensions, exhausts, etc. for the car, but
other than Dinan selling an ECU update that only removes top speed gov
and increases RPM's by 250, it seems no other US engine tuner has
stepped to the plate and come up with an affordable engine tuning setup.

Anyone else out there with one of these gems of a car wondering when the
real performance tuner will stand up?  I understand in my research that
at 73.78 HP/Litre, you are already at a relatively tweaked performance
ratio, but there must be SOMETHING that I can do to get a little
something more out of the 325?
