Hi All,
In addition to my other post, I was wondering about the actual need for
replacement of the feul pumps. I have recently noticed that I can hear a
groaning coming from the rear seat that I assume is the feul pump working.
My question is, would that be normal, or is it a signal that it needs
replacement.
I know that I am having issues with feul delivery, since every once in a
while during driving, I get a loss of power that I was told was due to
either a faulty feul pressure regulator, or a bad feul pump. I want to
ensure that they (Feul Pumps) dont fail, since I am going to be driving
about 1200 miles in the next 3 weeks from Toronto to Florida. I do however
want to not spend too much money. So I was wondering if I should in fact
change both the internal and external pumps. I am going to change the FPR
for sure. since it is not that expensive. But the feul pumps are, so can I
test them to ensure they are good? My bentleys is on its way from the order
house and I should have it in about 2 days or so, and I dont know if there
is a test in there.
any advise is appreciated
Thanks
Ron J
