Sunroof seal

As the seal of the sunroof has badly deteriorated I going to change it.
The pre '86 European M6 cars had a two part seal--930mm on the front of the
roof and 1440mm for the rear part. The front rubber part is no longer
available.
Now my question, can the sunroof seal (one piece) of the post '86 cars fit
on an '85 Euro M6?
