<e28> supercharging 535i...possible?

Hi All,

Now that I am ready to start tinkering and upgrading the car, after that bout
of electrical/mechanical gremlins.

I was wondering if anyone has ever attempted to supercharge an E28 535i..

Wonder how an 85 535i with about 120k on it would do...

any horror stories? success stories?
I figure its easier and cheaper to supercharge a car then turbo charge it.
