I'm gonn a change my clutch and would like to know....

if there is anything else I should change while it's
at the shop.  And what I can do to make the clutch
alot softer.  I know that bimmer have stiff clutches
but I read a post about a week ago about sanding
something to make it softer.  Or maybe an aftermarket
clutch??  Any help or advice is appreciated.  TIA!!!
