E36 Vibrating Front End Question

Hello to all!

I have started noticing a vibration/shake when the brakes are applied in my
93 325i. It's not a constant thing, it comes and goes, but seems to be more
prevalent at higher speeds (40 MPH+). The shake can be felt in the steering
wheel, and usually goes away after letting the brake pedal off, and then
applying it again.

Any ideas? Could it be as simple as wheel balancing? Warped rotors? Any and
all replies are appreciated. Thanks!
