525i dash computer illumination

My 1994 525i has a problem with the illumination of the dash computer.  The
small bulbs need to be replaced approx every 6 weeks.  They simply burn out.

I'm obtaining new bulbs from my local BMW dealership.  Could there be
voltage problem or is my dealer not giving me the correct parts?
