E30 dismantle seat

I'd like to swap the front driver's seat in my '89 325i with the
passenger side because of wear. But I can't simply swap them over as
there are all sorts of levers etc invloved. So I wonder If I can
"simply" swap the parts that are worn? Trouble is I can't see where to
start! Has anuone done this before or knows how to do it? I'v placed a

which shows the bits I'd like to swap. A and B are the main ones - C
would be a bonus.
