[Q] Peake Research R5/fcx Codes

All,
I borrowed a Peake Research R5/fcx (code reader) tool to find out why a
co-worker's 1997 528i had the CE light on. The following codes were
displayed:
E9
EA
dd
dc
The 528i codes are listed in Chart 2 of the Peake Research manual.
According to the chart, E9 and EA are 'Catalyst Efficiency below threshold'
for Cyl #1-3 and Cyl #4-6, respectively.
The dd and dc codes aren't listed in Chart 2.
However, in Chart 3, dc and dd are listed as 'AfterCat oxy sensor slow
response time' for Cyl #1-3 and Cyl #4-6, respectively.
So, assuming that the dc and dd code information listed in Chart 3 is
applicable for the 1997 528i, it seems to indicate that post-cat O2 sensors
may need to be replaced.
The car has 92k miles on it.
Any comments, suggestions, tips?
Thanks,

PS: This tool is REALLY cool! It checks codes, resets the CE light, resets
the Oil Service light, and resets the Inspection light.
