E39 Sunroof Jamming - any help?

Before I go and have my headliner ripped out has anyone else had this
problem? It was working fine up until yesterday when I went from the
flip-up mode to full open, it brings the glass down, starts it's trek
into the roof and then stops moving after about 1 inch, cocking
slightly sideway - definitely getting jammed up.
