Tim-

Your electrical problems could be due to a lot of things, but I had a
problem several years with the same symptoms and it turned out to be a short
inside the battery. I could tap the side of the battery and it would come
to life. Be very careful because the battery could blow up if this is
indeed the problem.

Subject: starter?

I have an 86 325E that is acting weird (so what else is new?!?) On
occasion,
the battery will act as if it is dead. I will get a jump and I am back to
normal instantly. I can turn the car off and it will start again easily.
What's up with this? The battery must be good. Is there a relay that could
be sticking? Help? Tim
