 Not sure if this thread originated on convertibles, but at least one of the
posts mentioned brake check light problems on a convertible.  There is a
small circuit board in the 3rd brake light housing.  Mine was corroded
pretty bad, cleaned it up, resoldered a couple of connections and the check
light went off.
