DAMHIK, but now I replace just about everything in pairs - wheel bearings,
brake wheel cylinders, brake rotors/pads, headlights, motor mounts,
etc. It seems to take more time to buy parts, move the junk out of the
garage, get the tools out, and clean up afterwards than it usually takes to
actually do the job. So doing both sides at once - instead in two separate
work sessions - usually pays off. Because you know once you fix one side
the other will just fail in a few months anyway.

So true. Of course, I didn't find this out until I went to purchase my
very-badly-needed first replacement coolant pump 30,000 miles before the
*4th* timing belt was due and the guy at the parts counter clued me
in. Had no idea the coolant pumps were so cheap.
Live and learn.
