M-tech M3-style moldings

Has anyone replaced their old moldings with the M-tech M-3 style
moldings?
A few years ago, I could never understand why people would try
to make, say, a 325i, look like an M3 when it's not under the hood.
But those moldings do look cool; my current ones are getting kinda
drab looking so something as small as new molding would give the car
a "new" feel I guess.

Has anyone replaced their moldings on a 328i sedan?  What's involved?
Do I have to remove the inner door panels to put these on?
How hard is it to get the old moldings off.
Would just like to know before I order the moldings from Bavauto.
