Problem Solved: E30 power window problem

Alex was right on the money. Since I let a friend borrow the car I did not
check the child switch. Sure enough the person thought these were the 4-way
flashers so problem solved. Child switch now pushed back in.

Brad,
Are you sure you haven't tripped the child lock? It's a rectangular toggle
switch near the gear shift lever that exposes red portion of the button when
it is in the open position.
On 4-door cars it disables the rear windows, but on 2-doors it kills the
power to the front ones.
