RE: Ansa exhausts and Engines

Stay away from Bavarian Engine Exchange. These people do not deliver
what is promised and back out of warranty commitments.

I received a faulty M50 engine and had quite a struggle in getting one
that worked. Actually had to get the BBB and Club Ombudsman involved.

They also failed to put the crankshaft hub on correctly and the front
cover developed an oil leak. Cost me over $500.00 to get this fixed and
was not covered due to being a fluid leak (they only warranty leaks for
6 months).

Other club members have had problems with Bavarian Engine Exchange
located in Rancho Cordova, CA. STAY AWAY.

Subject: Ansa exhausts and Engines

Everyone,
Thanks for all your past help.

Has anyone with an e30 had any experience with Ansa free flow exhausts?
Would you recommend them? This mod would be for my 1990. Can anyone tell
me what gets replaced in a free flow system (is the cat. left in)?

I'm also looking into rebuilding my engine for further tuning (port
polish etc) has anyone had experiences with Bavarian Engine Exchange and
Metric Mechanic?

TIA,
Adam
