BMW talk interpretation

Is there a good place on the web that gives a concise explanation of the
different models/designations that BMW uses for their cars?

For example, 325, 328, what does 25 and 28 refer to?

325, 325e, 325i, 325ix, 325ic?  And that's just 3 series.

Sorry for such a dumb question, but I'm just not up to speed on Bimmer-talk.
