325iX idle speed & fuel consumption

Guys/Gals:

What should my idle speed be on a '89 325iX?  My sits at around 600 rpm and
I think that's low.

Also, I'm getting really crappy gas mileage.  18mpg at best in the city.  I
recently replaced all 6 injectors (4 of which were leaking) but it didn't
help in this area.  Any other things I should look at?  I checked my tire
inflation.  I drive fairly conservatively.  And the car's an automatic.
