Hello Digest,
I've blown my drivers front speaker in my 97 328iC and wanted to find out
how difficult it is to remove the kick panels? I might as well replace both
front speakers with something a bit better quality. I had a quick look and
the removal process didn't appear obvious. The only bit I could see which
would be "easy" to remove is the hood (bonnet) release lever. On the
passenger's side, there's some plastic screw head.
Is this a DIY or should I just bag the whole idea and take it to a
professional installer? I don't have many tools at home nor can I spend an
entire weekend tearing the interior of my car apart.
Thanks in advance!
