<E36> Power Window and Sunroof troubles

I'm having trouble with the power windows and sunroof in my 1993 325ia.  The
trouble is that none of them work.  The problem began intermitently.  When the
car was first started, the windows and sunroof wouldn't work for about 5
minutes, but after that would work fine.  Now they don't work at all.  I've
ruled out the child safety switch or fuses as suggested by my "friendly"
dealer parts guy.  I'm thinking more along the lines of a relay or something
that controls the whole power window/sunroof circuit.  The Bentley manual and
the parts CD haven't been much help.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks
