engine bay cleaning

John,

I've been using aerosol brake cleaner to remove dirty grease build up,
followed by spray of simple green, scrubbing as much as possible, then
using very low pressue water spray to rinse it all out.  I've not had
any electrical problems.  As for rust, a lot of guys like the POR15
product, but I've not tried it.
