minor nit:

you can install it on any vehicle, you just don't get trailer brakes
if the wiring isn't there.

i used to use electric brakes when i towed my Dively trailer behind
the old ford wagon, and they were essential, couldn't tow safely
without them, but with our one ton ford van, i've never bothered to
hook the trailer brakes up and haven't really missed them.
