Have 2 E46s, a 328IS and M3, prior had an E36isc and E34.  Also own 2 996
Porsches, Cab and GT3 and 928GTS.  Next to 928, the latest BMWs possess build
quality that is tremendous from my perespective.  Especially in a $50M car.
Not being contrary, just stating my experience.  Perhaps you got a bad one?
Wish the 996s were built as well!
