Looking for advise on Euro M5 purchase

First I must say that I'm  not looking for advise about the car. I know
everything I want to know about the M5.
Specifically I am looking for advise on owning a converted Euro car.
More specifically after getting it, is a problem to fix, maintain and do
routine work.
If someone has first hand experience I would love to get information on what
it means to own one.
