Re: Shark Injector?



I installed the cold-air box from JimC on my E36 ('98 328is) before I
reprogrammed the computer. I did not dyno it, however (don't have $70 to
drop every time I make a change). It felt better somewhat stronger and
certainly sounded stronger (particularly above about 3K). When I
reprogrammed it with JimC's tool the performance really took off but, of
course, without a dyno I can't tell you which made the greater difference.

My gas mileage has increased across the board without any other changes
(same gas from the same station, driving style is actually a little more
aggressive). Solid 24.5 in-town and as much as 31 on the highway (peak),
average on the highway is about 27.5. Previously it was 22/25.
