Re: clicking sound on right rear

The clicking sound could be a sign of your right rear cv axle about to go
bad.
Usually the clicking means that the axle boot has deteriorated and dust and
other contaminants have found their way to the axle. I would have my cv
boots and axle checked, to make sure that that is not the cause. Hope that
helps

Subject: clicking sound on right rear

I have a 1991 318is and noticed recently when I
start and drive the car, I hear a clicking sound from
the rear right. After car running for a while, the
sound disappear. Does anybody have idea what it is ?
Could it be oil bump ? anything wrong ?

Thx.
