Bill,

Congratulations on the new purchase. I too have a '92 535i 5 speed. You'll 
love it. No timing belt here, it has a timing chain and this engine is 
pretty bulletproof, so to speak. Valves need adjusting every 10-15 miles; 
make sure fluids are changed (trans., diff.,  brakes bleeding & antifreeze 
every (2) years. You may need a new 'micro-filter' for the A/C (under dash)
