My shop (not dealer) welded mine twice - once at about 75K and again at
about 150K. My 87 325(eta) with 210K still has the factory cat and front
pipe. Or maybe I should say it has the factory cat *shell* and front
pipe....who knows what's left of the cat guts. (No violin jokes please)
