I have been through this with my e-30.  My solution was to buy the JL Audio
top ported dual 10'' enclosure (300 watt max).  Only one hole in the center of
the rear deck was required to get me shaking.  All of the trunk lifters were
untouched, the port hole was about 5 1/4'', so it has a 5 1/4 speaker cover
over it.  Really clean install if thats what you are looking for.
