This will work well or measure the stock links center to center and start with
the adjustable links run out long.  After assembley tighten.  The jack is the
best bet though.  Put the jack under the hub and set the parking brake.  If
your stands are high and your jack has limited reach you can put it under the
edge of the rotor.  Again be sure to set the brake so nothing rotates and
drops the suspension.  Your hands will appreciate this.
