Re: We don't need no stinkin' badges
<<<Y'all
I need some minor bodywork done on my '86 325es and am
going to do the initial prep work myself. I have but one
simple question....How does one remove those Roundels
and script, especially from trunk lid? There is no access
from inside the trunk, so is it magic or something?

These badges are held in place by a couple of pins that slide into
grommets. Slip a piece of dental floss underneath and work the badge
up. This will work without scratching the paint. But, if you don't
care about the paint (which I guess you don't at this point) use a
piece of that plastic strapping they use on cartons and shipping
boxes.
Good Luck,
