<E30> 1989 325iX radio control questions

Hi,

I just bought a 1989 325iX without a radio manual, and I am wondering abo=
ut a couple of
things about the radio.  The radio I have has the infared control for bal=
ance, bass, treble under
the channel selection buttons.  I do not know the model number.

1)  How do I set the pre-progammed buttons.  I like a couple of the ones =
already programmed,
	but I want to change the rest, and I can't figure it out.  My 4 year old=
daughter knows
	how, but she can't (or won't) show me how.

2)  What are all of the functions of the joy stick?  I know the Rewind/Fa=
st Forward function for
	the tape deck, and I know that the tuner works with this also.  But what=
is the
	vertical motion for?  The faceplate has arrows up and down and the lette=
rs SE
	next to the joy stick.

I don't really want to buy a copy of the manual for these questions, so =
any help will really be
appreciated.
