Just to clarify a point that seems to be widely misunderstood, a
Level 3 BL/SS (M3 Level 2) shifter is about 20mm lower than stock. By
adding the ERK, you add 25mm... this puts the lever within 5mm of original
stock height, barely noticeable.

The people who notice are generally those who have used a Level 3 (M3
Level 2) without an ERK for awhile and gotten used to the decreased height.
When switching from a stock lever directly to a Level 3 with ERK, those
people don't notice the 5mm.

Besides that, the ideal knob for any BL/SS shifter is the "Rob Knob"
(shipping late this week) in machined aluminum or titanium.
