Vg-2 is the detector detector and can detect many many radar detectors
as you drive by (picks up local oscillator leakage from your detector)
Most cheap detectors leak lots of signal, lots of more expensive detectors
leak lots of signal (even those claiming to be 'undetectable'),
but the best don't.
The really good Bel (ST series) are detectable like 5 feet away, and
the V1 is not even detected at that range.
BUT there are other ways to 'detect' you using a radar detector..
such as the cop looking at you as you drive by, seeing the detector
hanging from the visor, sitting on the dash, etc.
Or noticing that when he blasts someone with instant on, you slam on the
brakes. All of which give him enough cause to pull you over and confiscate.
