Manuel, a dealer will charge you about $450 for inspection I.
Take the opportunity for a short drive, bring it on over to my place,
I'll do it for you for $180
Oh, one catch. I work from a shop in NY ;-)
Inspection I involves changing oil, microfilter, and depending on
dealership, trans fluid and fuel filter (some dealers do this at Insp I
others do it at Insp2)
If you have some mechanical ability, you could quite easily do it
yourself. However, one thing to bear in mind when choosing between
dealer service and other service. In the future, when your car is out
of warranty, the ONLY thing that dealers take into account when
considering good will repairs, is dealer service history. Most dealers
will help you out beyond warranty IF you have had the vehicle regularly
serviced at a dealer.
