i filled up the tank yesterday morning on the way to work.
after the tank was filled up, i started the car and the
fuel gauge registered FULL. drove to work. parked the car
for the rest of the day.
when i started the car after work, the fuel gauge registered
EMPTY. the warning light if on. i restarted the car a couple
of times, it didn't make any difference. so i drove home.
parked the car inside the garage. then went out to get a
haircut. all that while, the fuel gauge showed EMPTY.
but when i finished the haircut, i started the car, the
gauge still said EMPTY. then i restarted the car. whoallahh...
the fuel gauge suddenly got out of its funk and went back
to FULL.
this happened to me once before a few months ago. i never
bothered with it since it only happened that one time.
has anybody else experienced this? what may have caused this?
TIA.
