Quick to indict Korman but eager to defend BMW?  Me wonder why thy doth
protesteth so much.  Anyway, I don't have any opinion about Korman or
the advertised bushings.  All comments about them in my post were cut
from the web site.

Someone else made a much more informative post than mine, and it's clear
that this is suspected by those who have taken a hard look at it to be
more than just operator error.  I think there is a real issue as to
whether it is appropriate to advertise a vehicle as a true sports car
and then not back it up when used for its intended, reasonable sporting
use (see the RX7 Lemon web site).  Is a BMW driver school beyond the
foreseeable use of the car?  BMW's also enjoy a reputation as being
over-engineered.  BMW arguably creates detrimental reliance by its
representations. 

Personal responsibility is all well and good, but it goes BOTH ways -
consumers and manufacturers. This is not an ERAM issue.  A lot of people
invested enough money in an M3 to postpone their retirement
significantly.  They deserve to get what they bargained for.  I'd also
like to provide BMW with an incentive to build better cars in the
future.  I can think of no better forum than these lists, at least until
BMW sponsors them.  Nonetheless, you'll hear no more from me as I have
nothing more to contribute.
