[Q] E36 Rearview Mirror

I had a similar problem with my 1996 328is. I took it into the dealer and
had it replaced under warranty (it may have been during the 12,000 mile
free-adjustment period, I don't recall exactly).

My 1998 M3/4's rearview mirror is *slightly* off, not enough to have me get
it replaced (and risk getting a worse one).
