Nitya, since I'm 5 days behind on my Digest reading, this may have
already been answered, but I offer my observations anyway.

The ad simply says that they have the technology.  It doesn't say that
they sell you the palm top unit.  They may loan it to you.  They may send
a rep out to your location to use it.  They may provide the units to their
dealers around the country.  I think the answer is that you have to call
them (at 650-962-9401) and find out.

Personally, unless you're in California and are paranoid about getting
caught, I don't know why you'd consider Dinan software when the
general concensus is that Jim Conforti's software is better and, last I
checked, cheaper, too.  In fact, now that I think about it, I'm not even
100% positive that Dinan's OBD II software is CA legal.  Did you see the
disclaimer at the bottom of the page?  (Something about not all products
are legal on CA emission controlled vehicles, or similar words.)  A simple
phone call might answer all these questions.
