I understand your feeling, but my thought is, if he'd
won tires from Yokohama, and wanted to sell his $500
gift certificate for $350, we all might think that was
cool. Of course, tires wear out, so you might not sell
that unless you're buying a new house, like I am soon.
Why any different with the chip? If he sits on it,
it does NO ONE any good. If they can get it for $350 from
elsewhere, let them. Free country and all.
I didn't see what his old price was before he found out it
fit OBD-II cars, so I'm not commenting any adjustment there,
but it's his damned piece/part, he can do what he wishes.
It's fair to correct that. What if your house listed for
$100K and you found out it was worth $150K? Wouldn't you
retract the ad?
