One further caveat; because the filter is so hard to get to - and thus to
see - it is not obvious that the screw clamps holding the hoses to the
filter are both of the tamper-proof variety - i.e, they may be tightened
but not loosened. Neither a screwdriver nor a wrench is very effective at
removing them.
I discovered this after finally getting one off, after about 45 mins of
hand/wrist/body/mind contortion/torture. I still don't see a good reason
for it. But be sure to have replacement clamps on hand...
