Jeff the Cop and speeding

This thread on cops and speeding is unbelievable.  It is disappointing that 
people like the ones involved in this "discussion" are BMW owners.  It's no 
wonder we're so resented by the masses.

I personally want to thank Jeff for his original post sharing his perspective as 
an officer.  I don't agree with his philosophy or the speeding-injustice-system, 
but I appreciate the insight he has been generous enough to give us into how the 
"other side" thinks.  I urge digest members not to react so immaturely to the 
insight Jeff has provided.  Rather, use it to your advantage the next time 
you're stopped by one of those rolling circus light shows.  Whether you agree 
with it or not, he has provided you with useful information. 

You should be thanking Jeff for his input and responding in a civil manner with 
your own ideas, not calling him every name in a junior high school boy's 
vocabulary.  Please, at least try to appear decent so that those of us that are 
don't need to conceal the roundels on our cars from the general public.

And yes, as a life long BMW driver, I've had more than my share of tickets.
