Although this appears to be a stupid question, it probably isn't... How do you jack up a '92 E36 using the factory jacking points and still have a reasonable place under the car to locate a jackstand ? The tire jack does not seem lift the car high enough. A friend has an E30 325e and is pondering the same question. It doesn't appear to be a good idea to lift either model from any other spot other than the jack points.
