Was it 860? There was some kind of lawsuit couple years ago
on this topic. The fact was that BMW was allowed to export only 600
M5's in 88, but for some (:) reason, it turned out that extra 260
cars appeared in US. Some one hated this badly and decided to have
lawsuit against BMW (they are just looking for reason....too many M5's,
tinny bidy sratch on paint....). The result was that 'unhappy' M5
owners were given discount when trading perfect big 6 4v to ??nable
V8's.
