Glad to hear that was the extent of the problem.  I've also been told to
replace them at the same time, but I didn't on either car that failed.  So
far, so good.  The slave is very easy to get to; it can be seen, felt, and
yes...even removed easily from the driver's side.  Mesa has the part listed
in their WWW catalog (http://home.earthlink.net/).
