<E36> Clutch "judder" problem

Hi all,

 Just got back from some warranty service at my favorite local dealer (! ?),
and thought I'd pass on the fact that there is a warranty fix (no charge) for
the clutch judder problem a number of Digesters have commented on.

I have a 1995 318i sedan that would really "judder," (clutch assembly would
have trouble smoothly engaging the clutch while driver was releasing the
clutch pedal with foot) when hot, and the dealer replaced the clutch disk.
Apparently, the clutch disk material does not hold up well. My sedan has
about 15K miles on it, so this is very unusual problem. I believe thsi
problem could happen to both 318 and 325 models.
